PERSONAL NEUTRON DOSIMETRY


Monitoring is provided by trace detectors based on mylar foil.
The dosimeters are changed monthly according to the set monitoring program.
Neutron dosimetry is an additional to services to whole-body dosimetry.
Dosimeters are always sent by post on the agreed date.
Neutron dosimeters allow us to determine the type of radiation and the likely source in addition to the dose.
Neutron dosimeters are archived and can be re-evaluated if necessary.
Measurement range:
– Neutron energy: 0.5 eV – 14 MeV
– Dose range: 0.2 mSv – 2 Sv
